UNVEILING THE SOUL OF ART
As an artist and designer I know the struggle involved in the back of an art piece that I make. This makes me understand how much pain, practice and patience is involved in an art form that I usually see in exhibitions and events. Through this project I want to represent the relentless dedication, resilience, and craftsmanship embedded in art forms through embroidery by showcasing the artistic process and the emotions of an artist in this process.
This project will be the embroidery that illuminates the layers of an artist struggle. Through intricate design elements I seek to unveil the often unseen complexities of the artists by portraying artistic struggles like technical challenges, creative block etc. and emotions like depression, self-doubt, and stress. Each embroidery swatch serves as a window into the physical and emotional challenges faced by artists, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound dedication and resilience required to excel in this art form.
Representing artist’s pain using intricate design elements such as blood, cuts, bruises, blisters, and wounds, alongside the portrayal of emotions like depression, self-doubt, and stress to unveil their unseen complexities.
